You should feel understood.
You should also feel something changing.
I’m a licensed psychotherapist who helps individuals and couples understand the pattern, practice a different response, and create movement that reaches beyond the therapy hour.

A different kind of therapy
Insight is where the work begins.
I have spent more than a decade working across private practice, intensive outpatient care, inpatient and residential treatment, community mental health, and managed care. That range taught me to hold complexity without losing direction.
My own experience in therapy also shaped how I practice. Being listened to matters. Feeling deeply understood matters. But I wanted therapy to do more than help me name the pattern—I wanted help changing what happened next.
That is the kind of space I work to create: collaborative, culturally responsive, emotionally attuned, and active. We slow down what is happening, identify what keeps taking over, and practice a response that is more intentional, connected, and workable.
Therapy should give you language for what hurts—and practice for what comes next.
Ways we can work
Structure for the practical.
Depth for what sits underneath.
Individual therapy
Build a life that feels meaningful—not merely successful.
I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to help clients navigate anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, identity, relationship patterns, cultural and family expectations, and major transitions.
The work is flexible enough to meet the complexity of your life and structured enough to keep moving toward what matters.
Couples therapy
Change the pattern beneath the argument.
I blend the structure of Gottman Method Couples Therapy with the emotional depth of Emotionally Focused Therapy to help partners understand both what is happening between them and why it keeps happening.
Together, we work with recurring conflict, distance, trust, cultural differences, family expectations, parenthood, fertility, and the unmet needs underneath the cycle.
Training + perspective
Clinical depth. Real-world range.
Credentials matter. What matters just as much is how they shape the work we do together.

Beyond the therapy room.
I’m also a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, having spent two years serving in Morocco. That experience continues to shape the cultural humility I bring to work with first-generation professionals, immigrants, cross-cultural couples, and families carrying more than one set of expectations.
I live in Chicago with my partner, our two toddlers, and our miniature schnauzer. Parenthood has given me an even more grounded understanding of what happens to relationships, identity, ambition, fairness, and time when a family changes shape.
None of that means our experiences are identical. It means I will not ask you to flatten the parts of your life that make the story more complex.
