Couples Therapy in Boston & Massachusetts
For couples who want more than better arguments.
The goal is not to decide which partner is the problem. It is to help both of you stop losing to the pattern.
Two capable people can still become trapped in a cycle neither of them knows how to stop. Long work hours, new parenthood, family expectations, fertility stress, or years of unresolved hurt can leave a couple functioning efficiently while feeling increasingly alone.
I work online with healthcare professionals, academics, researchers, people working in biotech, finance, law, and higher education, first-generation Americans, LGBTQ+ clients, and parents carrying demanding roles at work and at home throughout Massachusetts.

Structured Therapy That Creates Movement
I integrate the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy to help couples slow down the cycle, understand the softer emotions and attachment needs underneath it, and practice new conversations in the room. This is structured, active work—not a weekly debate about who is right.
Couples work typically begins with a joint intake, followed by individual assessment meetings and a feedback session where we clarify the pattern, goals, and treatment plan. From there, sessions focus on creating new experiences of communication, repair, and connection.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer online couples therapy throughout Massachusetts?
Yes. Sessions are available by secure video to clients located throughout Massachusetts, not only in Boston & Massachusetts.
What concerns bring clients to couples therapy?
Couples often reach out for recurring conflict, emotional distance, trust injuries, premarital questions, parenting strain, intimacy concerns, and cross-cultural or family-of-origin stress.
Is your approach structured?
Yes. We clarify goals, identify the patterns maintaining the problem, and use each session to create movement. Insight matters, but the work is designed to change what happens outside the therapy room.
